Kiwi Seeds history began in 2002 in an attempt to save some of the fast disappearing ‘old-school’ genetics once the main-stay of the New Zealand/South Pacific marijuana industry.
New Zealands main crop up until the 1990’s involved a blend of mainly sativa and Haze types bought back during the 70’s by travellers first discovering country’s such as Mexico and Asia. These plants were typically tall, fast growing sativas that flourished in N.Z’s warm and wet climate and long autumns. After years of selective breeding these original strains were transformed into names once so familiar to the N.Z smoker and grower. Names such as ‘Tepuke Thunder’ and ‘Coramandel Gold’ were common and when tested were shown to have some of the highest THC content of any outdoor plants anywhere.
NZ quickly developed a name for itself as being one of the finest outdoor marijuana producers in the world. Kiwiseeds use only top genetics for their marijuana seed production, sourced from strains the world over, every variety tested for germination viability and flower quality.
An Illustrated Guide to Weed Seeds of New Zealand
An Illustrated Guide to Weeds Seeds of New Zealand provides a wide audience with access to expert seed identification and will be an invaluable tool for anyone working in agricultural or horticultural production, ecological research or plant pest management, and for anyone with a general interest in plants.
An illustrated Guide to Weed Seeds of New Zealand is an aid to the identification of the propagules of common naturalised and native plants of NZ, and of weeds of other countries that aren't present in NZ but often intercepted in consignments imported from overseas. It is not strictly about 'seeds' in their bare form, rather the form in which they are most likely to be found or seen; for this reason it includes photographs of 'seeds' with and without appendages such as spiny protrusions, wings or bracts.
The helpful introduction includes an identification aid and glossary. There are 116 pages of colour photographs, with 696 images illustrating 623 different species. A brief description and distribution information are given for each seed.
weed-seeds NZ ? In country seed company
Found this company online last night. Has anyone heard of these guys and more importantly has anybody ordered from them? The prices are in NZ dollars but click on "buy seeds" and it goes to the seedsman site. Bit confusing but not dealing with customs is the big plus even if they cost a bit extra
There are no seed banks in NZ. You will be dealing with customs no matter what seed bank you order from.
Yes that site is very confusing, I'd stay clear of it. You can easily order from seedsman anyway since that is where it goes to after pressing the "shop seeds" button.
